Sarra joined NHS at the beginning of the Covid Pandemic, and is currently an instructional designer working in the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) team, NHS. She designs, develops and delivers digital eLearning projects, interactive PDF posters and flyers, instructional videos and social media training campaigns, as well as classroom and ward printed training materials.
She holds a first class BA Illustration (Now Animation and Illustration) Honours Degree (2009), an MA Creative Application Development (Distinction) 2021, and the P.T.T.L.S teaching qualification (2009).
She had previously taught undergraduate students on the animation and animation for games degree at Birmingham city university, co-creating an interdisciplinary elective module entitled ‘Kollab’. Here, she delivered lectures, workshops and tutorials to bright eyed bushy tailed students. She also conducted tutorials for Coventry University and a delivered a key note lecture at Staffordshire University.
Sarra has designed and delivered award winning community learning events to both young learners, and older adults aged between 12 - 90. The workshops included experiences that taught character design and animation skills. These were funded and supported by Uppingham Community College, Corby District Council, Lutterworth Secondary School, and The Market Harborough District council.
