Sarra Shepherd has a background in media production and teaching. She is a trained illustrator and has worked in broadcast quality film and animation. She is qualified in teaching adults and has extensive teaching within community, secondary school and higher education settings. ​​​​​​​
Sarra’s portfolio includes: e-learning projects, instructional and promotional videos, animation, course module design, print documents, posters, social media content, game assets, illustration, marketing materials, campaigns and learning channel design and hosting. 
She works within a friendly TEL team where she manages the internal staff intranet, learning management system and provides technical assistance. 
Many of the projects are sensitive, and confidential in nature and so the portfolio is locked. The password will provided to those that require access.
Sarra has 18 years experience as an academic researcher specialising in immersive-interactive XR (VR/AR/MR) experience design. 

Her research is located at the intersection of videogames theory and women’s healthcare and well-being. Her specialist interest is in trauma-informed VR safety design.
